170ml Ballet Teardrop Flute

Description

The 170ml Ballet Teardrop Flute takes the classic flute silhouette and softens it, the bowl swelling gently before tapering back in rather than running straight from rim to stem. Standing 197mm tall by 70mm across on a slender stem, it pours the standard 170ml toast with a rounder, more elegant line than a straight flute. Branding sits on the curved bowl by full colour pad print or frosted laser etch. Supply it to hotel banquet operations, wedding planners and corporate event caterers wanting stemware with a softer profile.

Safedge® Rim and Foot Guarantee. This glass carries the Safedge® Rim and Foot Guarantee, covering chips to the rim or foot. If either point chips, it will be replaced or refunded when returned to the dealer. The guarantee does not cover general breakage, and since it protects the glass rather than the branding, replacements are supplied unbranded, with rebranding costed as a separate job.

Choosing a Decoration Method

This glassware can be decorated three ways, and the main difference between them is durability in the wash.

Pad printing is the standard method, with prices shown on this page. The logo is applied by pad print and cured in a low fire oven. Because the cure temperature is low, the print isn't dishwasher safe and the glasses should be hand washed.

Decal printing solves that. The decal is fired at high temperature in a kiln, fusing the artwork permanently into the glass surface. Decal printed glassware is guaranteed dishwasher safe, which makes it the right choice for pubs, clubs, and cafes where glasses go through commercial washers daily. Decals cost more than pad printing, so ask our sales team for pricing.

Laser etching, also priced on this page, engraves the logo directly into the glass for a frosted, single colour finish. Etching is permanent, dishwasher safe, and won't fade over time.
