Firm tannins and dense fruit define Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, and this glass's wide, deeply curved bowl is engineered to handle both. The larger surface area encourages oxygenation, while SON.hyx construction and a titanium-treated stem carry through the same clarity and durability as the rest of the Atelier range. A dedicated branding zone sits beneath the bowl, and capacity comes to 700ml.
Shaped for Cabernet & Merlot: This glass takes a wide, deeply curved bowl profile specifically to accommodate the dense, concentrated aromas found in Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, giving them enough surface area to fully diffuse. That same shape maximises oxygen contact, which works over time to soften the strong tannins these varieties are known for. It's a design built around wines that need space and air to reach their best expression.
SON.hyx Glass: Blown in Italy using a high-tech glass formula, this piece delivers absolute optical clarity together with genuine structural strength. It offers the visual brilliance expected of premium stemware without the fragility that often comes with it. For venues serving fine wine, it's a material built to match the occasion.
Titanium-Reinforced Stem: The stem on this glass has been treated with a permanent, anti-abrasion titanium process, making it far more resistant to snapping or fracturing under torsion than an untreated pulled stem. This targets the most common failure point on fine stemware, adding real durability without altering its elegant profile. It's a practical feature for venues wanting premium glassware that lasts.
This glassware can be decorated three ways, and the main difference between them is durability in the wash.
Pad printing is the standard method, with prices shown on this page. The logo is applied by pad print and cured in a low fire oven. Because the cure temperature is low, the print isn't dishwasher safe and the glasses should be hand washed.
Decal printing solves that. The decal is fired at high temperature in a kiln, fusing the artwork permanently into the glass surface. Decal printed glassware is guaranteed dishwasher safe, which makes it the right choice for pubs, clubs, and cafes where glasses go through commercial washers daily. Decals cost more than pad printing, so ask our sales team for pricing.
Laser etching, also priced on this page, engraves the logo directly into the glass for a frosted, single colour finish. Etching is permanent, dishwasher safe, and won't fade over time.
