At 310ml, the DOC Wine Taster gives businesses supplying wine trade shows a larger option in the D.O.C. range, without changing the compact, elongated egg-shaped bowl that keeps the tasting standard consistent. A standard 50ml pour still swirls freely and concentrates aroma at the narrow rim exactly as intended, and the Sparkx® crystal ensures every judge sees a wine's true colour. The bowl's clean surface offers ample space to print a company logo or event branding across large tasting sets.

Sparkx® Crystal. This glass uses Luigi Bormioli's proprietary Sparkx® formula, an eco-friendly, lead-free crystal glass known for exceptional transparency and colour neutrality. It allows sommeliers and judges to examine a wine's true hue, clarity and viscosity without distortion.

D.O.C. Wine Taster. Made by Luigi Bormioli, this internationally recognised tasting glass is formed to an ISO-standard D.O.C. tasting profile. Its compact, elongated egg-shaped bowl is proportioned so a standard 50ml tasting pour swirls freely, concentrating aromas toward the narrow opening.

Break-Resistant Sparkx® Engineering. The reinforced Sparkx® composition gives this glass significantly higher resistance to mechanical shock and rim damage than a traditional soda-lime tasting glass. Choosing a Decoration Method

This glassware can be decorated three ways, and the main difference between them is durability in the wash.

Pad printing is the standard method, with prices shown on this page. The logo is applied by pad print and cured in a low fire oven. Because the cure temperature is low, the print isn't dishwasher safe and the glasses should be hand washed.

Decal printing solves that. The decal is fired at high temperature in a kiln, fusing the artwork permanently into the glass surface. Decal printed glassware is guaranteed dishwasher safe, which makes it the right choice for pubs, clubs, and cafes where glasses go through commercial washers daily. Decals cost more than pad printing, so ask our sales team for pricing.

Laser etching, also priced on this page, engraves the logo directly into the glass for a frosted, single colour finish. Etching is permanent, dishwasher safe, and won't fade over time.
