280ml Baldoni Porcelain Cup

Description

A reactive glaze finish means the 280ml Baldoni Porcelain Cup was never going to leave the kiln looking identical to the piece next to it, heat reacts with the glaze differently each firing, leaving behind a patina that shifts slightly cup to cup across the blush pink pastel base. Hospitality venues after something with more personality than a standard mass produced cup tend to gravitate toward that variation. The wide, shallow shape is built for cappuccinos and short blacks, and beneath the artisanal surface is fully vitrified porcelain, tough enough for constant restaurant use and safe in the microwave. Branding is pad printed on, and although the porcelain handles heavy hospitality wear well, hand washing is needed to protect the printed design itself.

Reactive Glaze Variance. Each Baldoni Porcelain Cup reacts individually during firing, meaning colour hue and patina will differ slightly from cup to cup. This variance is expected and intentional, giving the range its distinctive, handcrafted character.

Matching Saucer Available. A matching saucer, finished in the same reactive glaze, can be added to this order for an additional cost.
