Description
At the core of the Thermic Photo Mug is a thermochromic coating, a heat-reactive pigment layered over a full colour sublimated print that's fully opaque and black at room temperature but turns transparent once heat rises past roughly 40 to 45 degrees. Adding a hot coffee or tea sets off that reaction, with the black surface clearing gradually as warmth spreads through the ceramic, uncovering the sublimated design underneath rather than displaying it from the start. The process runs in reverse as the drink cools, letting the mug return to solid black and repeat the reveal with each new hot fill. That mechanism makes the mug part of the experience rather than just a vessel carrying a logo, ideal for gifting occasions or campaigns built around a genuine reveal moment. Finished in black with a white interior, hand washing only is required to protect the coating and keep the artwork underneath looking sharp.
